Here at St. Hugh of Grenoble, it is our privilege to offer Christ’s preferential attention to senior parishioners in need of the companionship and assistance of the local community.
Anyone who is suffering prolonged illness or who is homebound due to age or physical limitations can contact the Parish Office. We are happy to bring the Holy Eucharist to your home on Sundays and schedule visits from a priest for reception of other sacraments.
For assistance, call the Parish Office at 301-474-4322.
“I had the great blessing of growing up in a family in which faith was lived in a simple, practical way. However, it was my paternal grandmother in particular who influenced my journey of faith. She was a woman who explained to us, who talked to us about Jesus, who taught us the Catechism....This is how I received my first Christian proclamation, from this very woman, from my grandmother! This is really beautiful! The first proclamation at home, in the family!”
- Pope Francis, May 18, 2013
Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you. All things pass. God does not change. Patience achieves everything. Whoever has God lacks nothing. God alone suffices.-St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582)
